But Ali was also controversial just as much as he was a champion. He refused to serve in the Vietnam War sighting his religious beliefs as a Muslim and also the treatment of African-Americans in the United States at the time as second class citizens. He lost his boxing license, but later the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that he could return to boxing. Over time, the controversies surrounding Ali faded and he was generally accepted as the greatest boxer and a worldwide ambassador of humanity. Now that his life has come to an end…. what do you think will be Muhammad Ali’s greatest legacy? How will he be remembered by future generations? How will you remember him?

It’s hard to believe that at one time smoking was allowed everywhere. Name a place that smoking was allowed in the past that today seems really absurd? AND: according to a new survey – less than 30% of children have climbed a tree in the past year. Video games, smartphones and tablets are apparently keeping kids inside more. Do your kids actually play outside? Have parents become so protective of their children that they prefer them to not do things like climb trees? What did you do that kids don’t seem to be doing today?
